In Dubai, nobody goes anywhere without The Entertainer; it’s their answer to Taste Card and Groupon in one. Their two million-strong global customer base benefit from thousands of ‘buy-one-get-one-free’ offers on restaurants, hotels and activities across the Middle East, Africa, Europe and Asia.
Due to the huge numbers of products and outlets, The Entertainer needed a website that could display all the necessary information in a clean, easy to use manner. The information architecture was key to the website – making sure that users could discover new places, easily search for specifics across the entire database, and enjoy a fast checkout to complete their shop.
One of the biggest challenges we faced was coming up with a fluid template that showed all relevant information to every merchant on the platform. We took inspiration from technical factsheets – designs that can cram lots of information into small spaces. We designed our own ‘fact sheets’ to display the information on the product, merchant and hotel pages in a clean and clear layout.
